Maximize your chance of success when sample size is limiting: The graph below shows the yield obtained from varying numbers of cells using the Maxwell® 16 Cell LEV DNA Purification Kit, and shows that DNA was successfully extracted from as few as 10 cells. See the protocol. Purify DNA from difficult sample types: It can be difficult to consistently obtain quality DNA from certain sample types, e.g., amniotic or cerebrospinal fluid. The prefilled optimized reagent cartridges of the Maxwell® 16 Cell LEV DNA kit offer maximum sensitivity and provide consistent results, even with inherently difficult samples. With Maxwell, you also have access to a database of sample types tested that includes details of preprocessing requirements, yield and downstream applications. Obtain virtually inhibitor-free DNA from FFPE samples: Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissues can be problematic because of the potential for carryover of inhibitors into the purified DNA. The Table shows yields from FFPE samples using the Maxwell 16 FFPE Tissue LEV DNA Purification Kit, and the Ct values obtained in subsequent qPCR assays. The purified
